Deadly Hands of Kung Fu

Here are the xeroxes of my pencils with balloon placement for an issue of Deadly Hands of Kung Fu featuring Shang Chi. Lots of Joe Kubert influence on this stuff for me...probably to the annoyance of the writer who was always leaving comments on the backs of the pages. Once got a story with a description of page 1 &2 and the last page. The directions for the rest of the job was do a fight scene - and make it interesting. Of course, once it was turned in he complained the the editor that my fight wasn't very interesting. I volunteered to return my writing fee on the job. lol.  Best, Mike

    Thanks for the post . Back in the day I bought this magazine mostly for your artwork . Disappointing that you had such a short run . Thanks for sharing .
