In the futuristic world of the Motherland, as Earth is called now, and anyone not born on the planet is designated a second-class citizen. Young Zak, an Off-Caste, and recently orphaned, decides to skip out of his rigid boarding school and connect with his exciting uncle, Grant MacLeish. But his boyish escapade quickly embroils him in a deadly situation where no one including his uncle, the exotic dancer Kaoru or the holyman Jutan are what they seem. 

Originally printed in 1993 in a three issue series, this reprint collects them all in one graphic novel, completely digitally recolored and with enhanced printing shot from the original Duo-Shade pages.

Mike Vosburg worked for Marvel and DC comics and for many animation projects, winning an Emmy for as a director on the HBO Spawn series. He has also storyboarded several music videos and a number of films, including the Chronicles of Narnia series. Off-Castes is one his creator owned concepts.
