Here's part 3 of another Lori tale from Hollywood, this time with Ms. Lovecraft's old flame, the private detective R.C Bowman. Magic, mayhem and tinseltown madness.

This week's HBO Tales From the Crypt covers are from one of my favorite episodes, "Korman's Kalamaty" starring Harry Anderson, Cynthia Gibb and Colleen Camp. Since the plot centers around a cartoonist who's drawings start coming to life, I was brought in to do any on screen drawing action that was needed. Of course I jokingly told Harry that it was a good thing he was left-handed like myself or they might have had to replace him. The other two drawings were used in the episodes as props drawn by Harry's character. Colleen Camp played his wife, and I never once made the connection between her and the Playmate of the Year who drives the Vietnam G.I. crazy in her cowgirl dance in "Apocalypse Now." Missed opportunities.
The middle cover with the TRex I seem to recall was pretty much drawn by my then assistant Don Cameron, who has since gone on to a long and successful career in 3-D animation design.
